This SEL classroom scavenger hunt aims to encourage students to engage in acts of kindness and to focus on doing good deeds for others.

As students complete each activity, they will experience the positive feelings that come with helping others, which can be a reward in itself.

One Study Challenge

  Time management has been one study challenge I might have faced during the Moreland Teach-Now program. The program requires a significant time commitment to complete coursework, participate in online discussions, and complete practicum requirements. I found it challenging to balance my existing work or personal responsibilities with the demands of the program. To overcome this challenge, I created a schedule that prioritises my time and sets aside dedicated blocks for completing coursework and participating in online discussions. I also communicated with my peers and instructors to ensure I am on track and seek support if needed. Time management skills are essential for teachers, and the Teach-Now program offers an opportunity to develop and refine these skills.
